What's in a Name? by Deneh Thompson and Tristan Bacon
The
whistle blows and it’s lunch time. At the top of a high rise in
construction two iron workers sit down to eat. The conversation turns
to the travels and exploits of the younger, and feelings of regret and
resentment become apparent in the older. As tensions rise high above

Pathos, Punchlines & Painkillers by Chris Masson
Pathos,
Punchlines and Painkillers is a fusion of spoken word poetry, and
storytelling created by Chris Masson. It tells the autobiographical
tale of an unlikely romance overcoming all odds. In it, Masson takes on
some thoroughly modern topics like internet dating, cancer, and the
shortcomings of modern medicine. All the while, he blurs the line
between storytelling, spoken word poetry, and theatre traditions,
borrowing from each to create something distinctly new. Audiences have
called the show “simply fantastic,” “captivating,” and “one of the best
of this year’s fringe!” "Masson consistently wows audiences with his
cheeky, hilarious and subtly thought-provoking spoken word pieces." -
